Objective

This training video outlines the steps to update your dispensary's store hours in the website footer and check for other areas where hours may be displayed.

Key Steps

1. Access WordPress Admin 0:14

• Log into the back end of your website (WordPress admin).

• Navigate to the Retailers tab on the left side of your screen.

2. Select Retailer Location 0:26

• Choose the retailer location you want to update hours for.

• Click on the desired location (e.g., Burlington).

3. Edit Retailer Information 0:38

• Click Edit to access the retailer's information page.

4. Update Retailer Hours 0:56

• Scroll down to the Retailer Hours section and expand it.

• Update the Hours Summary and the Day-to-Day Store Hours as needed.

5. Save Changes 1:06

• After making updates, scroll back to the top of the retailer's page.

• Click Update in the publish box to save your changes.

6. Repeat for Other Locations 1:29

• If you need to change hours for another location, repeat steps 2-5 for each retailer under the Retailers tab.

7. Confirm that change applied to the live website

• Confirm that the updates made in retailer settings applied to your live website for the intended location.
• If hours DID NOT UPDATE, move onto step 8 below.

8. Manually updated your site hours through the Customizer Tool

• If you hours did not update properly with retailer settings, you may need to manually update the hours in your site footer. This is common for single rooftop dispensary websites that want to list our full Monday-Sunday store hours. 
• Go to Customize > Site Layout > Footer > edit your hours manually in the "Content Area" box > Hit "Publish". Screenshots below: 

Cautionary Notes

• Ensure that the hours you enter are accurate and reflect the current operating hours.

• Double-check that you are updating the correct retailer location to avoid confusion.

Tips for Efficiency

• Keep a list of all retailer locations and their current hours handy for quick reference.

• Consider scheduling regular updates to ensure hours are always current.
